INFORMATION NOTICE PERIOD SURVEY
The draft Local Place Plan and Community Action Plan for Muckhart is now complete.
You can download a copy of the plan here.
PLEASE TELL US WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE PLAN BY FILLING OUT OUR ONLINE SURVEY
The survey will run from Weds 1st October 2025 to midnight on 29th October 2025.
There is a statutory requirement to consult on the draft Local Place Plan. This is called the Information Notice period. We want to know whether you support, object to or are neutral towards the 12 Local Place Plan proposals, and what you think about the 12 Community Action Plan projects.
The Information Notice period is a statutory requirement for a minimum 28-day period where local councillors and community councils adjacent to the boundary of the Local Place Plan have a chance to make representations about the draft LPP. The steering group have also taken the decision to go beyond this statutory requirement and use this period to also consult the whole community on the proposals that have been developed.
When you click through to our survey, you will find full instructions and information about how to fill in the survey and what will happen then.

FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE LOCAL PLACE PLAN
A Local Place Plan (LPP) & Community Action Plan (CAP) is a community-led plan for the future of a neighbourhood or place. A LPP is a new way for communities to influence development outcomes in their area. Download this one-pager for more information on Local Place Plans. Click here and scroll down to watch a two-part training video about what Local Place Plans are by Paul and Chiara who are leading the process.
This plan for Muckhart will lay out a delivery plan to benefit our area over the next 10 years. It will cover a range of topics like housing, youth, communications, greenspace improvements and active travel routes. It will also lay out ideas around land use, buildings and development and feed into Clackmannanshire’s next Local Development Plan (LDP).
Over the next few months we will work to gather the community’s views to submit our plan by the end of October 2025.
