Next Workshop: Prioritisation and Making the Plan Climate Ready
Join us to review and comment on our draft proposals for the future of Muckhart!

Click on the graphic below to see a larger image detailing the schedule of how we are developing the Local Place Plan (LPP) and Community Action Plan (CAP) for Muckhart. We are currently nearing the end of stage 4: Draft Development

A Local Place Plan (LPP) & Community Action Plan (CAP) is a community-led plan for the future of a neighbourhood or place. A LPP is a new way for communities to influence development outcomes in their area. Download this one-pager for more information on Local Place Plans. Click here and scroll down to watch a two-part training video about what Local Place Plans are by Paul and Chiara who are leading the process.
FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE LOCAL PLACE PLAN
This plan for Muckhart will lay out a delivery plan to benefit our area over the next 10 years. It will cover a range of topics like housing, youth, communications, greenspace improvements and active travel routes. It will also lay out ideas around land use, buildings and development and feed into Clackmannanshire’s next Local Development Plan (LDP).
Over the next few months we will work to gather the community’s views to submit our plan by the end of October 2025.
IN ADDITION TO OUR ENGAGEMENT EVENTS IN MAY, OUR INITIAL ONLINE SURVEY ENDED ON EASTER MONDAY (MIDNIGHT, 21st APRIL)
