MCC has been advised of the following planned works. Please take these works into account when planning any journeys.
| SCOTTISH TRUNK ROAD NETWORK
M9/M876 JUNCTION, FK2 8RW FALKIRK BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland, are planning to carry out essential major repairs on the M9 Hill bridge at M876/M9 Junction. The bridge is located 4 miles north of Falkirk where the M876 eastbound slip road is carried over the M9 at Junction 8. The works are split in two phases with phase 1 provisionally proposed to begin in the 22nd of November and last for at least 8 weeks. Phase 2 is provisionally planned to start on Sunday 17th of January 2022 and last for at least 15 weeks. A mixture of traffic management arrangements will be required during this time, including lane restrictions during night time on the M9 and M876. The works will be programmed to ensure safety of road users and engineering staff alike, whilst minimising disruption to travellers. |
